1. Go to our Sealit Portal and login. Once you are logged in you will see the “File
​Encrypt/Decrypt” button

2. To Encrypt or Decrypt the file, simply “Drag & Drop” or click the select file and navigate to the file you want to Encrypt/Decrypt

Once you select the file you want to encrypt, you will be asked to choose if you want to share access to the file with someone:

Click “Yes" if you were not to share access to the file with someone else and “No” to encrypt the file for yourself only

Note: For the purpose of this article, we will demonstrate how to share file access with someone

To share a file with someone, simply type their email and select “Encrypt”. You can choose to share the same file with multiple people

Once you click on "Encrypt", your encryption process will begin

Once the encryption is done, your file will be safe with Sealit

Download the file and that’s it! Now you know how to easily encrypt files from the Sealit Portal

To Decrypt a Sealit file, simply “Drag & Drop” or select a file with .sealit file extension and Sealit will automatically detect that the file needs to be decrypted

To decrypt the file from Sealit, you will need to authorize the decryption first. You will receive a notification request on your mobile device. Approve the decryption and the file will start to be decrypted if you have access to it

To access decrypted file, select the “Download file” button and your decrypted file will start downloading

You can use Sealit Portal to decrypt files on Mac, Windows, and Linux devices
